……..Better get ready cuz ya going in da fish fry…..To paraphrase one of the best and most parodied songs ever, “Straight Outta Compton” by a group of young wholesome black kids from Compton, California named Easy E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and DJ Yella, more formerly known as the acronym N.W.A. or to break it down further NIGGAZ WIT ATTITUDES!   This week’s WALL I’s corner focuses on the one of the greatest and most politically and socially conscious  rap groups of all time, NWA and their parodies CB4, aka CELL BLOCK FOUR, from the movie of the same name, and the infamous C.W.A., Straight Outta  Wiscompton, aka CHEEESEHEADS WIT ATTITUDES!

CB4 – Starring Chris Rock and Allen Payne as MC Gusto, Stabmaster Arson, and Dead Mike in probably the best music movie parody since Spinal Tap, maybe even better.  This is where contemporary tool rapper Rick Ross stole his identity from king pimp and the johnny appleseed of crack cocaine during the Iran-Contra Scandal, Freeway Ricky Ross, whom I’ll break down further in a later post on drugs and America.   Anyways, Chris Rock was great with awesome cameos from a ton of notable actors and musicians from Phil Hartman to Ice Cube to Charlie Murphy as the real “Gusto”!   Can’t stop laughing whenever I see this flick!
