Lost in Space…

I’ve sorta been slacking on my alter ego/DJ persona and been focusing more on my art persona.  You know, the one that makes me money…unlike this DJ thing.  By the way check out my other blog, soon to be linked to my fancy new website that showcases my kick-ass art.

Besides that I read a really good book, and I recommend it to everyone who ever wanted to know everything there is to know about the vocoder.  Trust me you do.  The fella who wrote this book has a great sense of humor and employs an expert technique of writing that made the whole thing really fun and easy to read.  Loaded with cool photos, anecdotes, and military jargon the vocoder has had a more interesting past than you would think.  A good amount of attention is payed to Michael Jonzun and his memorable use of the machine, early on.  Check out some of his tunes and read the darn thing, its a good one.

This Jonzun guy is goin for the correct Aristo-crunk look and he sounds just like Prince!!
